Headed down to Huskison for the Triathlon festival with Riedy, Quinn, Whippet, Bagus and Larn. Also had good friends Simon and Deano down there racing. Was a great weekend away thanks to Elite Energy! Friday night was the ocean swim, I finished 7th overall, Saturday the sprint distance and Miniman racers were held which we watched. Dinner with some amazing athletes on Saturday night.

Sunday was the long coarse race (2km swim, 83km bike, 20km run)

was a tough day I didn’t feel like I was racing that well but ended up winning my age group and finishing 10th overall in a time of 3hrs 51min

very happy (to be finished).

All the boys headed home after the race but I decided to stay the night and ride home the following day, to get some miles in the legs before Melbourne! Was a solid ride but much needed.
